Folk legend Pete Seeger used the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 3, as a template for "Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There is a Season)", which became a worldwide hit for The Byrds in 1965. This would be the closest thing to a gospel record the Byrds would record, but I shan't be surprised if some Christian stations play this song occasionally.

One of my favorite songs of all time!
I've always enjoyed the work of The Byrds (and Folk Rock in general), but this song makes you think carefully about the lyrics. How many of today's songs can do that?
Not many, really.
I happened to see the video for Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe", and, well, let's just say that crossed signals would describe it oh so kindly......
