Maybe after this, your cat will want to take up ballet (1979)

Today, the Friskies brand of cat food and its parent company, Carnation, are now part of Nestle. 40 years ago, they came up with a variation on a five year old ad campaign for Friskies Buffet.

Friskies Buffet, you see, had 20 different varieties, so they lined the cats up with a tray of the product, with a late comer arriving to bump the line forward. Radio personality and voice actor Danny Dark (Super Friends), a studio announcer for CBS at the time, and long the voice of Keebler cookies, is the narrator. The jingle is set to the tune of "The Blue Danube".

Awwww, isn't that cute?
