The Fabulous Thunderbirds introduced themselves to the MTV generation with 1986's "Tuff Enuff". Flanked by a half dozen hotties dressed as construction workers, Kim Wilson and the band were in heavy rotation throughout the summer. Ya know, some guys do have all the luck.......
I remember this song, and it was good.
ReplyDeleteI do admit I liked "Wrap It Up" just a little bit more.
Both still sound good on the radio, which IMO is the true test of a good tune from any era.
I have to readily admit I dug "Tuff Enuff" more, and not just for the women. It was also the beginning of a blues explosion in the mid-80's. The T-Birds, Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughn. 'Nuff said.
