From Here Come The Brides comes a tender Christmas ballad that has rarely been heard otherwise.
Toward the end of the episode, "A Christmas Place", Joshua & Jeremy Bolt (David Soul & Bobby Sherman) perform an acoustic duet of "St. Day Carol", also known as "Sans Day Carol". While Sherman would go on to a brief but productive career on the pop charts during the first half of the 70's, it'd be 8 more years before we'd hear Soul sing again ("Don't Give Up On Us", which was posted a while back).

Definitely a beautiful song and it should get more airplay.
Maybe a new group should take a shot at it; if The Barenaked Ladies could make "God Rest Ye Gentlemen" a mainstream keeper, maybe someone can do the same for this song.
There is another rarely heard Latin carol which the Monkees sang on their show back in '67 called, "Riu Riu Chiu". It's included on one of the Missing Links compilations. It also sounds quite sweet. Oddly enough they never recorded a Christmas album like everyone else did. I wonder why?
The Monkees probably didn't have time, or when they did consider it, they were on the verge of splitting.
I'll keep an eye for Riu Riu Chiu.
