:38 Special raced back up the charts in 1984 with "Teacher, Teacher", the theme from the movie, "Teachers", which wasn't exactly a box office smash, despite the ensemble cast assembled, which included TV stalwarts Richard Mulligan (Soap, later of Empty Nest), William Schallert (ex-The Patty Duke Show), Judd Hirsch (fresh from Taxi), and future Oscar winner Morgan Freeman (ex-The Electric Company), though Nick Nolte got top billing.

Thanks for posting this - haven't seen it in forever!
I saw the film when it first came out - and the golden turd that public schools have become has only become worse over the last 30 years. My favorite character of course was the escaped mental patient - played by the late Richard Mulligan. Ironic that he was the one who was the best teacher of all the students - even I was bummed when he was finally taken back to the asylum. I think it was his co-workers who belonged there - not him!
The movie however was spoiled when Jo Beth Williams' character decided to walk down the hallway naked - what was that supposed to prove? Any credibility her character had was shot by that stunt!
Hey how about the original delinquent film - "Blackboard Jungle"??
If I can rent either one of those films on DVD, they'll be reviewed here.
I've got more videos to hunt down. Van Halen, Lionel Richie, maybe even Britney........
