Somehow, I don't see CW doing this for Supernatural when it ends its run.
Arrow capped an 8 season run on January 28 with a two hour block, which led off with the documentary, Hitting The Bullseye, which offered up an hour's worth of choice clips, and comments from the show's stars, including Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, and Katharine McNamara.
Bullseye was an overview of the series' run, building up to the final episode, which followed. In hindsight, however, CW misfired.
Why? The previous week's Arrow was a back-door pilot for a spin-off, Green Arrow & The Canaries, set 20 years in the future, and starring Cassidy, McNamara, & Juliana Harkavy. As of press time, the series hasn't been picked up, which is a little strange in and of itself. Rightfully, this would've been the finale, but the network and producer Greg Berlanti had their reasons for the backward order of the final two episodes.

As it was described, the series finale, as well as Bullseye, was a way of saying thank you to the fans for eight years of support. Amell will be seen next in the wrestling drama, Heels, for Starz later this year. Here's to hoping Canaries does get picked up, adding a little more girl power to CW's lineup, which already has four series with female leads (Supergirl, Charmed, and the freshmen series, Batwoman & Nancy Drew).
Hitting The Bullseye gets an A.
