Musical Interlude: Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying (1964)

When you think of the British Invasion in music in the mid-60's, what names immediately come to mind?

The Beatles, of course, were at the forefront, along with the Rolling Stones, The Who, The Moody Blues, Petula Clark, and Herman's Hermits. In the midst of it all were Gerry & The Pacemakers. Gerry Marsden's group were contemporaries and rivals of the Fab Four in Liverpool, and followed the Beatles onto The Ed Sullivan Show, appearing in May 1964 to perform the ballad, "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying".

In memory of Gerry Marsden, who has passed away. Rest in peace.
