The epidemic of fan stupidity continues

A day and a half after a Boston Celtics fan wasted his water bottle by throwing it at Brooklyn's Kyrie Irving, an inebriated moron got on the court at Washington's Capital One Arena during game 4 of Wizards-76ers:

This was the 2nd fan incident in this series, the other taking place at Wells Fargo Arena a few days earlier. Notice how the camera zoomed out to ensure this week's representative of the Dunce Cap Award winners (the idiots giving basketball fans a black eye) doesn't get to see his mug on national television, even if he's DVR'ing the game.

We've seen nonsense like this for years at baseball & football games. Drunken fans, usually dared and egged on by their friends, will hit the field for a stunt, knowing what the consequences are, but too hazed in the brain to realize it until it's too late, and reality smacks them upside the head.

To borrow a line from the TV series, Benson, if brains were dynamite, these clowns wouldn't have enough to blow their noses.
