The Guardians & Commanders have thrived since their current team names were adopted. Someone wants that reversed. One guess.

America's foremost liar, Donald John Pinocchio Trump, is looking for an excuse to avoid discussing the growing scandal surrounding his late friend, Jeffrey Epstein.

This next attempt at a distraction isn't going to land very well at all.

First, we'll let Forbes' YouTube channel fill you in.

As we've previously established, when Trump claims "many people" have said this or that, he's usually lying. The only sure thing is that there are voices in Trump's head telling him these things.

Consider:

As the Washington Football Team, the current Commanders won the NFC East in 2020. They've since reverted back to being a middle of the pack club that contends, then fades.

The Cleveland Guardians are the defending AL Central champions, and have been contenders even before the name change took effect prior to the 2022 season.

So why is Trump doing this? Pandering to the Native Americans, but, more likely misrepresenting the case, which is on brand for Trump. The Commanders are looking to build a new stadium where RFK Stadium once stood in Washington. That means Trump is trying to gain some leverage by demanding a reversal of their team name. As usual, he comes across as a spoiled, entitled brat trying to bully his way into getting what he wants.

Does he succeed this time? No, and, knowing Trump, he won't allow the Commanders to return to Washington, meaning any plans for a new stadium would be on hold until at least 2029, unless Trump is removed from office before then. And that's still a viable option.
