Fans of The Edge Of Night doubtless recognized the guy in the grey suit as Forrest Compton, who was about two-thirds of the way through his tenure as Mike Karr in 1978.

You can get a better look at Henderson Forsythe ("Hank" to his friends) by checking out your post about Nearly Departed, Eric Idle's short-lived sitcom from the '80s (he's the Old Man who winks at the camera).
And while you're at it, you might try looking up the spots he did for KFC, following the death of Colonel Sanders; Forsythe donned prosthetic makeup to play the Colonel (did a fair job with the voice, too ...).

One commentator on YouTube ID'd Compton as well, and the other dude, they say, is Henderson Forsythe (no relation to John?).\
