Country singer Bill Anderson was a contestant on To Tell The Truth in February 1965. Robert Q. Lewis was guest moderator, and it seems that he's a country music fan.......! After the game, Anderson performs his 1961 hit, "Po' Folks", abridged and with a good natured jab at Lewis.

Apparently, Mark Goodson was impressed by Bill Anderson's quick answers.
Several years after this, Goodson began using Anderson on panels, ultimately making him host of The Better Sex on ABC in the '80s.
Further Fun Fact:
Tracy Stallard (Number 2) was pitching for the Boston Red Sox when he gave up Roger Maris's 61st home run in 1961
Better Sex was actually in 1977, Mike. Bill was paired with a pre-Real People Sarah Purcell. I was aware, via YouTube commentators of Stallard being a challenger.
