Way before he was touting diabetes medicine and mail order services, Wilford Brimley spent a few years shilling for Quaker oatmeal. The veteran actor ("Coccoon", Our House, et al) plays a kindly grandfather explaining to his grandson the virtues of healthy eating through oatmeal in this 1988 spot.
In memory of Brimley, 85, who passed away Saturday.
