Match Game is back again after a couple of years away, this time with Martin Short (Only Murders in The Building) taking over for scandal-scarred Alec Baldwin as host. The format and attitude remain the same, nearly a decade after Baldwin was brought in to revive the franchise for ABC.
For the opener, Short is joined by Murders co-star Selena Gomez, Kevin Nealon (ex-Saturday Night Live), BD Wong (ex-Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), and Anthony Anderson (ex-black-ish, To Tell The Truth, Law & Order), among the panel. A running gag had Short having problems with the machinery that brings the questions forward. Short, like Baldwin before him, doubles as co-executive producer.
