Can Marco Rubio handle two jobs? Kash Patel couldn't, so......!!!

Donald Trump took some bad advice----again----from Loopy Laura Loomer, and was ready to give Mike Waltz the boot as National Security adviser. Instead, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio being named national security chief on an interim basis, Waltz will instead be lined up for the UN Ambassador's role that was originally meant for Elise Stefanik.

Earlier this year, after being named FBI Director, Kash Patel was given a 2nd role in the administration on a temporary basis, and lost it within weeks. Waltz's standing as security chief was compromised because of his role in Signalgate 1 (There's a sequel involving Pete Hegseth, his wife, and a lawyer.), and with Loomer in Trump's ears, someone was going to take a fall other than Hegseth, who everyone else wants gone.

But, how long will Rubio be able to wear two hats?  What happens if he becomes compromised?

Back to Waltz. He'll likely be confirmed for the ambassadorship to end that drama, and given a chance to redeem himself in a role he's likely more suited for. Time will tell.
