Donny & Marie began what they hoped would become an annual tradition with a Christmas episode in December 1976. Series regular Paul Lynde (Hollywood Squares; he was also contracted to ABC, and would get a couple of primetime specials as part of the deal) and the rest of the Osmond family are the guests. This series would be one of the last gigs for George Fenneman (ex-You Bet Your Life, Dragnet), as he serves as announcer here. When the series shifted to Utah in season 3, Fenneman was cut.
