Weasel of The Week: Kanye West

It was one thing when trouble magnet Kanye West was called on at the last minute as the musical guest for Saturday Night Live's season opener, after scheduled guest Ariana Grande withdrew for personal reasons related to the passing of her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, who passed away last month. It was another thing when West decided to, in the words of cast member Kenan Thompson, hold some of the cast and host du jour Adam Driver "hostage" after sign-off, claiming he'd been bullied backstage.

Thompson, in relaying the tale of woe to ex-castmate and current Late Night host Seth Meyers overnight, said he remained backstage, and likened his castmates filing out to the stage at West's invitation to mice walking blindly into a trap.

West donned a President Trump "Make America Great Again" cap for his final number. Now, this is the same guy who claimed two years ago he was going to make a run for the White House in 2020. The same guy who ripped into President G. W. Bush in 2005 in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, and now he makes nice-nice with Trump?

If I were the President, I'd worry. This guy's nuttier than a whole bakery full of fruitcakes at Christmas time.

I wouldn't blame you if you were in attendance Saturday night-Sunday morning, and bailed before West opened his mouth to spew phony bull about being bullied.

And, then, there's this nonsense about West now preferring to be known professionally as Ye. Talk about a god complex. And I don't mean the Almighty, either. Far from it. This cretinous Weasel has to be on the bong 24/7 to be perpetrating crap like this. If it wasn't for the fact that wife Kim is just as attention-addicted as he is, I'd recommend she confiscate all of the drugs West has and flush them down the toilet, far away from their kids.

West has thrown his support behind Trump, at least for now, which means he's probably forgotten what he said about making a run for the White House in two years, at least until he feels offended by the President down the road. And that could be easily done, because sometimes Trump doesn't control what comes out of his mouth, either.

Kanye West is this week's Weasel. What more needs be said?
