More proof that Donald Trump is not a true Christian

Turning Point USA rented State Farm Stadium, home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, on Sunday for a memorial service in memory of the organization's co-founder, Charlie Kirk, who was shot & killed nearly 2 weeks ago.

Common sense would've had Kirk's widow, Erika, as the headline speaker, but, no. She had to play second fiddle to president Donald Trump. Big mistake.

Their speeches were a stark contrast. Erika offered compassion for Tyler Robinson, accused of killing her husband.

"I forgive him because it is what Christ did and is what Charlie would do," she said. "The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us."

If the service ended there after Mrs. Kirk's speech, that would've been perfect. Unfortunately, the compassion-challenged Trump offered this:

"He did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent, and I don't want the best for them."

That, friends, is all the proof you need at this moment in time that Trump isn't a true Christian, and never was. He has bamboozled the evangelicals from the word go, including the late Dr. James Dobson of Focus on The Family. However, Trump left a door open......

"I'm sorry. I am sorry, Erika. But now Erika can talk to me and the whole group, and maybe they can convince me that that's not right, but I can't stand my opponent."

Trump is obsessed with avenging himself on his various (and many) enemies for all of the perceived slights against him. However, he proves again that he really knows nothing about the Bible, else, he'd know that, according to God's Word:

"Vengeance is Mine. I will repay."---Romans 12:19 (New King James Version)

It wasn't so long ago that Trump took a page from the Oral Roberts playbook, asking for donations from his marks so he could "get to Heaven". Again, for someone who claims to have become a Christian after a meeting with Dr. Dobson 9 years ago, likely facilitated by then-Indiana Governor Mike Pence, Trump is not even a baby Christian.

And if the president has a problem with that, well, there's one thing left to say.

The truth hurts, doesn't it?
