Nowadays, you don't see commercials for pantyhose anymore. Socially, it hasn't been a thing, though certain celebrities such as Ariana Grande are trying to bring it back as a fashion trend, in years.
When ye scribe was in high school, it was a common fashion accessory, especially at prom & graduation.
