A little of this and a little of that

We've known for some time that President Donald John Archie Bunker Trump would rather trade innocent lives in order to be re-elected to a second and final term. Despite the fact that coronavirus is resurgent in the west and south especially, America's Oldest Baby wants schools to reopen on time for the fall season.

"WAAAHHH!! Send the kids to school!!!"

America's Oldest Baby doesn't get it. As a rift continues to develop between Trump and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), he wants students, teachers, and school administrators to put themselves at risk, especially in problem areas such as Florida, Arizona, California, and Texas. It doesn't matter to him that some of the adults may actually be among his supporters. He wants the country reopened, preferably sooner than later.

His arrogance will cost him the election.

Greg Berlanti will end 2020 with five fewer shows on his schedule.

Arrow ended in January after 8 seasons. Blindspot is wrapping up its run on NBC. The CW axed Katy Keene after an underperforming season where it was slotted opposite Grey's Anatomy. CBS dumped God Friended Me after 2 seasons.

And now, Netflix has announced that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will wrap after "Part 4" (season 4) later this year. Four seasons seems to be the average, they say, at Netflix. For showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, that leaves just Riverdale on his docket, and that series will enter its 5th season in January 2021. Maybe now he'll return to Archie Comics and get back to writing the comics version of Chilling, but don't hold your breath. There hasn't been a new issue in 2 years because Aguirre-Sacasa refuses to share his vision with other writers.

Meanwhile, Javicia Leslie moves over from God Friended Me to Batwoman next season. Ms. Leslie, who identifies herself as bi-sexual, has been cast as Ryan Wilder, who, through some contrivance, will assume the guise of Batwoman early in season 2. All that says to the fanbase is that showrunner Caroline Dries is digging her own grave creatively and professionally, continuing to offend fans of Kate Kane by developing her own Batwoman. Something tells me that whatever issues existed behind the scenes involving former star Ruby Rose might be tied to Dries. Stay tuned.

The Ivy League announced Wednesday that they will not have any fall sports, meaning the annual Game between Harvard & Yale, two New England rivals, will not be played, joining the RPI-Union Battle For The Dutchmen's Shoes on the sidelines for 2020. The dominoes will continue to fall.......
