By the time George Burns passed away in 1996 at 100, he could say he did just about everything.
However, his lone foray into music in 1980 was not one of his greatest accomplishments.
Burns recorded a cover of Jerry Lee Lewis' "I Wish I Was Eighteen Again", which had only been released, written by Sonny Throckmorton, a year earlier. It peaked at #15 on the country chart, and missed the top 40 on the Hot 100. The song peaked at #25 on the adult contemporary chart.
