The Michael Stanley Band picked up the baton for fellow Cleveland native Eric Carmen and the Raspberries, scoring their first major hit in 1980 with "He Can't Love You".
Stanley became a DJ in his hometown of Cleveland, gaining even more fans than in his chart days. This is in memory of Stanley, 72, who passed away Friday from lung cancer. Rest in peace.
