There were a small handful of music videos set in courtrooms in the 80's and 90's. To wit:
"Pass The Dutchie" (Musical Youth).
"Rappin' Rodney" (Rodney Dangerfield).
"Keepin' The Faith" (Billy Joel).
All three of those were between 1982-4. In the 90's, Rod Stewart's "Love Touch", from the movie "Legal Eagles", was largely set in a courtroom.
Same goes for Reba McEntire's "Take it Back", from 1992. Who else would play a lawyer who gets the star treatment the second she enters the courtroom? Pat McCormick appears as the judge, and even gets to mime the sax solo.
