Britney Spears wants to live her own life. Why should she need parasites in Washington?

Ever since experiencing a mental health episode in 2007 that resulted in the end of her marriage to Kevin Federline, singer Britney Spears has been under a personal conservatorship overseen by her father, James "Jamie" Spears, and she wants out of it, so she can go back to living her own life.

The conservatorship has been in effect for 13 years, which, you'd think, would be more than enough time for Britney to re-establish her own personal bonafides, including continuing her singing career.

And, then, a couple of GOPers decided to invite Britney to Washington to speak before Congress, and it's exactly who you'd think it'd be.

DoorMatt Gaetz & Empty-G (Marjorie Taylor Greene) are among four GOPers who've extended an invitation to Britney, so they can leech off her fame and extend their own 15 minutes of infamy.

Britney needs them like the rest of us need jock itch. Why politicize the personal struggles of a pop singer who's been in the public eye far longer than Empty-G & Gaetz combined? Why make Britney's sitch worse than it already is?

Because these GOPers are the worst kind of leech. For all we know, DoorMatt might want to poach Britney from her current boyfriend, and that's the last thing she needs. Congressman Pervert with her phone number.

You want to be on your own, Britney? The first step is rejecting the overtures of these leeches. Everything else will fall into place.
