Following up on his first top 40 hit, "Naughty, Naughty", John Parr scored his last hit, hitting the top of the charts with the title song from 1985's "St. Elmo's Fire". Cast members, including Judd Nelson, Demi Moore (ex-General Hospital), and Rob Lowe appear in the video for "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)":
Parr seems to have had the same voice coach as Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm, and Robert Plant's hairstylist. Unfortunately, he was never heard from again.
